For more than thirty years, free-lance drummer/percussionist Jeff Snider has worked in innumerable musical styles and situations – including small group and big band jazz, symphony, opera and ballet orchestras, rhythm and blues, folk, and contemporary country, pop, and rock ensembles.
Early in his career, Jeff performed and toured with many of the early stars of American rock and roll and pop music such as Danny and the Juniors, The Crystals, The Dovells, The Shirelles, The Angels, Bobby Lewis, and the legendary Dick Clark. Jeff has traveled the world and entertained thousands of American servicemen and women and their families as part of numerous USO Celebrity Shows, featuring motion picture and television stars, NFL cheerleaders, pageant winners and members of popular rock groups such as The Doobie Brothers, Kansas, and Pablo Cruise.
In more recent years, Jeff has found himself on stage and in the orchestra pit supporting national touring musical theatre productions – including the premier National tours of Barry Manilow’s Copacabana; Ring Of Fire – The Music Of Johnny Cash; and Jolson, The Musical; as well as national and international tours of The Addams Family, The Color Purple; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with the second generation of the Osmond Brothers; FAME; and GYPSY!, to name just a few. When not touring, Jeff also performs throughout the country in regional theatre, where he counts among his credits productions of Always…Patsy Cline; Beehive – the 60’s Musical; Bye, Bye, Birdie; Chicago; Dames At Sea; Fiddler on the Roof; Forever Plaid; Little Shop of Horrors; Man Of LaMancha; Next to Normal; The Pajama Game; The Rocky Horror Show; Jerry Herman’s Showtune; Thoroughly Modern Millie; and West Side Story.
